My family has been making wine for 500 years. I can’t remember my first time in a vineyard or a cellar. It’s part of our cultural genes. We’ve lived with vineyards, wine and wine cellars for as long as anyone can remember.

But being born into this context is not enough to make you decide to live like this. You can make a living in the wine industry in a number of ways, more or less committed emotionally, but only those who really live their passion for wine feel obliged to develop more sophisticated winemaking methods, to live obsessed with continually improving their product, innovating to achieve that end. Only they put it front and centre until nothing escapes its influence.

Philosophy and Values

The untiring quest for excellence in al phases of the process, from the vineyard to the customer: Viticulture, winemaking, product development, packaging, distribution and customer service, an attention to detail to make an impeccable product… all for the satisfaction of seeing a job well done.

Complete respect for our environment. It’s a question of principal. It is not enough to simply conserve it, we have to improve it. Our viticulture must be a central part of this philosophy. We manage our vineyards with organic and ecological criteria, only subordinating this to questions of wine quality.

Discovering and recovering emblematic vineyards. Everywhere we make wine we have the honor and responsibility to recover and farm old vineyards, some hundred year old vineyards inherited from our forefathers that we must maintain for future generations. Thanks to this we can produce some superb wines that make the hard work of managing this kind of vineyard worthwhile.

Creativity and innovation: We believe that the experience of decades of winemaking must go hand in hand with a continual revision of our methods and procedures, applying any available technical solutions. There is no other way.

The price of things. We don’t like to talk about money and culture in the same breath, but unfortunately all this has a cost. By vocation, we aim to make our products available to a discerning public so that they can enjoy our wines at least a few times a year – those that can, every day, those that can’t, then at least from time to time. We invest more than is necessary in the quality of our product. This is normally a lot, but we wouldn’t want to unnecessarily stop sharing with anyone the passion of our love for wine. We accept the responsibility of being generators of emotions, of culture, of sensations and quality of life with all its consequences.
